Ted MulryTed Mulry
I was born in Oldham Lancashire, England on September 2nd 1947.
I emigrated to Australia in 1966 and worked at many different jobs before settling in with the Department of Main Roads in NSW where I drove heavy machinery.
I’m 5’ 10” (177.8 cm), blue eyes, ginger brown hair and because I’ve just had my cornflakes at the moment weigh 10 stone (63.5 kilo).
I first started playing guitar when I was 10 years old (6 years ago) and wrote my first song at 16 while on holiday in Kent, England.
I’ve played guitar for about 5 years professionally and two years ago (1973) changed over to bass after our bass player left abruptly. I still play guitar and piano at home but on stage only play bass.

I was born in Maitland, near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia on August 17th. 1948, which makes me a Leo.
I started playing piano first, in the early 1960s, but after hearing the Beatles more AND more I decided I wanted to play guitar. My big chance came when my younger Brother (of whom I have two as well as a Sister) got a guitar for his birthday, so I gave up piano lessons and took up teaching myself how to play guitar.

Herman kovacHerman Kovac
Hi I’m Herman the drummer and I’ll do my best to fill you in on my part in the group.
I was born in Graz, Austria, on May 15th. 1949 and my parents emigrated to Australia when I was really young.
I am 5’5 1/2” (166.4 cm) tall, the 1/2” being my platform socks.
My hair is mouse brown and I have blue/green eyes.
I was educated at Maitland Marist Brothers and have been playing drums since before I left school.

Ted Mulry GangTed Mulry Gang
It wasn’t an easy climb - but  the band always had that one vision in mind to keep them going, picking up the pieces when things started to crumble or following the sign posts along that long winding road. If there’s one axiom they had, it was: get to the top but have a good time whilst doing so.

The Ted Mulry Gang was formed during August 1972, as a four piece band with Ted on rhythm guitar, and performed their first show at the Mattara Festival in Newcastle New South Wales, Australia on September 2nd. 1972.
